Sprint for life was founded in 1998 by the late Laura Lee Scurlock Blanton, who led her own courageous battle against ovarian cancer.  Since its inception, Sprint for Life has raised over $1 million to support the Blanton-David Ovarian Cancer Research Program, which leads the nation in innovative research into the causes, prevention, detection and treatment of ovarian cancer.

Please consider joining Team Tiara (pictured below) on May 3rd, 2008 as we pay tribute to Nancy Martin who lost her courageous battle against Ovarian Cancer in July, 2007 and also help to raise monies to benefiting the Blaton-Davis Ovarian Cancer Research Program.

Pictured above, fellow members of St. Matthew rallied in love and support for our two courageous church friends, Nancy Martin and Kathy Taebel.
